Adrian Pittman, Business Innovator
Adrian Pittman believes that crafting a successful brand requires both art and science. It’s about thinking big-picture strategy, forging the right relationships, and creating the most customer-relevant story. It’s a holistic framework of high-tech and high-touch – where the building blocks are synthesized into a new form that’s more compelling than the sum of its parts. He is co-founder and CEO of Velocity Matters and SOMTU MMS, two business ventures that reflect his philosophy and dedicated spirit.

Pittman has more than 15 years of high-tech marketing and brand development experience partnering with Fortune 500 companies on both the domestic and international fronts. He directed web-based design and messaging initiatives for Apple, Nissan and Infiniti for TBWA/Chiat/Day in Los Angeles, and Dish Network for Publicis in Seattle. With BBDO, he co-directed the launch of Daimler/Chrysler's web-based campaign for their brand's introduction into Eastern Europe. He also served as marketing director for several investments groups to facilitate their strategic branded launches in the US and abroad.

Marquina Iliev, Market Catalyst
Marquina Iliev believes that the most dynamic way to transform ideas into exceptional relationships and beyond requires three key elements. Be an active listener, stay open to suggestions and collaborate with everyone involved. She sees each opportunity as a treasure-trove of connections, and becomes the honor-bound explorer. Iliev’s inspired approach is a masterful combination of finesse and fortitude, finding the hidden gems in every conversation with every contact. The result: she secures hard-to-get appointments others might miss, turning initial relationships into successful ventures.

For the more than seven years, she has developed key markets by delivering audience-focused initiatives. She is known for clearly communicating a brand’s essence, especially in the interactive domain. She began her career at Solid Entertainment in Santa Monica and has since made her way to Manhattan. For Kaplan Test Preparation, she created strategic partnerships across college campuses, extending its brand reach by aligning joint-promotions with Red Bull, Glaceau Vitamin Water, and Smartwater. Most recently, as account director at 4 Corners, she spearheaded campaigns for Office Depot, Hallmark, AARP, Crunch Gym, and TIME Inc.

Iliev holds a B.A. in Organizational Business and Sociology from the University of Michigan. She is an active board member of the University of Michigan Alumni Association of New York, where she serves on the scholarship and fundraising committees. She is fluent in conversational German.

Myra Falisz, Creative Strategist
Myra Falisz believes that empathy is the most remarkable asset in business and in life. She enjoys revealing new relationship patterns and ways of communicating by toggling back and forth between the details and the broad-brush view. She is most enthusiastic when keeping a customer-centered focus -- delivering innovations that are useful and not intimidating. It’s her right-brain creativity and left-brain resourcefulness that energize an array of consumer and technology initiatives.

For more than two decades, Falisz has established rapport across various cultures, audiences and customers. She has introduced offerings throughout Japan, Australia, Singapore and Western Europe, and rallied a range of product management and communication initiatives for both experienced and entrepreneurial adventures. She served as product manager and director of external affairs for two publicly traded software companies, and was a founding partner of a technology group that successfully completed its exit strategy.

Falisz earned her master’s degree in Corporate Communication from Duquesne University, and spent a mid-career sabbatical at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She nourishes her balanced perspective with right-brain activities. Most noteworthy, she creates patterns inspired by Prague architecture that distinctly reflect her passion and heritage.
